The China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association has learned that in the first three quarters of this year, China's printing and dyeing industry continued to recover and develop. The production of printed and dyed fabrics maintained growth, and the export scale of major printing and dyeing products continued to expand. The main economic indicators showed a trend of recovery and improvement, and the industry's profitability significantly improved.
According to statistics, from January to September 2024, the output of printed and dyed fabrics by enterprises above designated size in the printing and dyeing industry was 41.622 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 2.94%, with a growth rate 1.04 percentage points lower than the first half of the year. On a monthly basis, the printing and dyeing industry entered the traditional off-season in July and August, with a decrease in production orders and a slight decline in operating rates. However, the monthly output still achieved a slight increase year-on-year; Entering September, the orders for autumn and winter fabrics increased, and the production of enterprises improved. In September, the printing and dyeing fabric output of enterprises above designated size reached 4.898 billion meters, an increase of 3.64% compared to the previous month.
According to the prediction of the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, with the continuous efforts of stock policies and incremental policies, China's economy will continue to recover and improve. The consumption potential of the super large domestic demand market is expected to be continuously released, and the economic recovery foundation of the printing and dyeing industry will be further consolidated and improved.
